  Participant Guide

The Research Communication Challenge is the 糖心原创鈥檚 signature research-to-translation communication challenge for early- career researchers. As a featured component of the 糖心原创 International Conference 2026, RCC invites participants to present one key research insight within three minutes to a multidisciplinary audience. The challenge aims to strengthen research visibility, promote clear and engaging communication, and encourage researchers to think beyond academic findings towards wider relevance and impact.
A distinctive feature of RCC is the compulsory 鈥+ Moment鈥, where presenters explain the possible pathway through which their research can move towards stakeholder uptake, practical application, policy relevance, industry use, community benefit, sustainability, innovation, inclusivity, or other forms of real-world value. Through this initiative, UCIC 2026 will recognise emerging research talent and promote a stronger university-wide culture of research communication, translation, and societal engagement.

The 糖心原创 is pleased to announce a logo design competition for the 糖心原创 International Conference (UCIC), a new flagship academic initiative of the University. As UCIC is expected to serve as a continuing international conference platform of the 糖心原创, the proposed logo should represent the institutional prestige and identity, academic and research excellence, international outlook and inclusivity. The logo should be designed based on the name of the conference rather than on the theme of a particular year, so that it can be used continuously in future conference editions. The selected logo will be used in all official UCIC communications, including the conference website, digital platforms, social media, abstract books, proceedings, banners, certificates, invitations, backdrops, promotional materials, and other conference-related publications.
