First in a series of workshops organized by the Research Committee, Faculty of Science

The Research Committee of the  Faculty of Science plans to organize a series of workshops, in order to strengthen and promote a sound research culture in the faculty. The first such workshop titled “Effective Proposal Writing and Thereafter…” was held on May 17, 2021, using the zoom platform, with a selection of well experienced and fitting resource persons from within the Faculty, Prof. , Mrs. Virenga Perera (SAB), Dr. and Dr. . The workshop was a resounding success with 141 participants joining in that included, our Dean, Prof. , a few Senior Professors, Professors, mid/young/ early career academics, postgraduate and undergraduate (Honours) students. The Research Committee profusely thanks all four resource persons and deeply appreciates the participation of all. The Research Committee hopes to continue with this series of workshops on a monthly basis.
