糖心原创 wins recognition at “Seminar 2018 for University Lecturers in Changchun, China”
Two Academic staff members, from the Department of Sinhala 补苍诲听 from the , participated in聽鈥楾he Seminar聽 2018 for University Teachers from Developing Countries & Countries and Regions Included in Belt and Road Initiatives鈥樎 held in Changchun China from聽聽September 9th to September 29th 2018. It was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People鈥檚 Republic of China and organized by the , Changchun. Thirty three academics from nine developing countries and countries included in the Belt and Road Initiatives participated in this seminar.
Dr. Latha Gurusinghe and Ms. Savitri Dias presented聽 a paper on聽 Educational Reforms in Sri Lanka, which聽 was聽 selected as one of the three best presentations of聽 the seminar. Ms. Savitri Dias was聽 also nominated聽 by the organizers to deliver a聽 Keynote address at the 鈥20+20鈥 Cooperation Programme 鈥 Forum (111) on聽聽Professional Development and Teacher Identity Recognition in the Domain of Leadership, held on 27th September聽 at the Redbuds Hotel, Changchun. Her address was on 鈥淧olicy Support for Teacher Identity in Sri聽 Lanka鈥.
