17 undergraduates of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ receive Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship
Under the MoU signed between ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation, 17 scholarships (an allowance of 300 USD per student) of 5100 USD were awarded to selected 17 undergraduate students of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ by Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation based on the academic merits of the students.
The scholarship awarding ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 19th September 2017 at FGS Auditorium, College House with the participation of Mr. Shigemitsu Miki; Chairman of Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation, H.E. Mr. Kenichi Suganuma; the Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka, Mr. Ryoichi Shinke; CEO, the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ and Professor Lakshman Dissanayake , Vice Chancellor, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ as the distinguished guests.
Mr. Shigemitsu Miki and Professor Lakshman Dissanayake , Vice Chancellor, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ handed over the certificates and the cheque to the students.
Marking the occasion Mr. Shigemitsu Miki; Chairman of Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation set out a Kora Kaha plant in the college House premises.
Deans of the Faculties, Senior Academic and Administrative staff of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and the delegates from Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation and Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ graced the event.
The event was organized by the International Office of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Faculty of Management and Finance in collaboration with Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Colombo.
