Academic & Research Collaboration Between Ocean University of Sri Lanka, IBMBB, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University
A Letter of Intent to facilitate academic and research collaboration between the , the Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology (IBMBB) at the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, and was signed on August 12th, 2024. The collaboration will primarily focus on the development of a Bachelor’s program in Marine Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Marine Biotechnology. This partnership will provide intellectual and infrastructure support, including the establishment of an advanced instrumentation laboratory as a shared facility.
The agreement was formalized in the presence of Senior Professor (Chair) , Vice Chancellor, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Professor Lim Sung Young, Programme Director at Korea Maritime and Ocean University, and Professor Wasantha Rathnayake, Vice Chancellor, Ocean University of Sri Lanka.
