The Department of Commercial Law, Faculty of Law celebrated ‘Consumer Rights Day’ on the 23^rd May 2018. The Department organized Cartoon, Documentary Video and Placard competitions among students offering Business Law, focusing on the theme ‘Regulation of Cosmetics in Sri Lanka’. – the Dean, – Head of Department of Commercial Law, Ms Samantha Karunaratne – Deputy Director of Consumer Affairs Authority, Mr Ranjith Vithanage – Chairman of The National Consumer Rights Movement and Ms Aparajitha Ariyadasa Attorney-at-Law addressed the students and invitees. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions.
