Dean’s List Awards and Teaching Excellence Awards – Faculty of Medicine
A ceremony to confer Dean’s List Awards (2018, 2019, 2020) and Teaching Excellence Awards was held on 28th of November 2021, at the New Building Theatre of the Faculty of Medicine with the distinguished presence of the Dean, of the Faculty of Medicine, Vidya Jyothi Chair and Professor , award recipients and academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine. The event was graced with the presence of former Deans Emeritus Professor Lalitha Mendis, Emeritus Professor Sanath Lamabadusuriya, Emeritus Professor , Vidya Jyothi Emeritus Professor and Emeritus Professor. This ceremony was organized with the intention of motivating students and the staff to aspire for excellence.
The Vice-chancellor of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Professor forwarded a special video message to congratulate the students who were identified as suitable to be in the Dean’s List. The Chairperson of the Awards, Scholarships, Fellowships and Orations Committee Professor and the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Professor also expressed their best wishes to the award winners.
