A delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University visited ÌÇÐÄÔ´´
Professor Ma Chan Zhongwu, Head Department of Sinhala, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China, and Ven. Professor Malwane Chandarathana Thero, Department of Sinhala, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China met Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ on 8th February at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. During the meeting, both parties discussed the ongoing collaborations between ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and the Beijing Foreign Studies University and the discussed the events plan to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the teaching of Sinhala language at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. Professor Athula Ranasinghe, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Dr. S. A. S. M. Senarath, Senior Lecturer, Sri Palee Campus, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Dr. Sampath Seneviratne, Director, International Unit, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ also participated at the event.
