A High-Profile Education delegation from Yunnan Province, China visited ÌÇÐÄÔ´´
A High-Profile Education delegation led by H.E. Mr. Li Xiaosan; Member of the Standing Committee & Head of the Organization Department, CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee visited ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ on 18th September 2017 and met Professor Lakshman Dissanayake; Vice-Chancellor and senior academics of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen the ongoing academic collaboration between ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Honghe Universsity, China, and explore the possible academic collaboration between Yunnan University and ÌÇÐÄÔ´´. The delegation was composed of H.E. Mr. Li Xiaosan; Member of the Standing Committee & Head of the Organization Department, CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, Mr. Li Jiming; Director-General, Foreign Affairs Office, People’s Government of Yunnan Province, Prof. Lin Wenxun; President of Yunnan University, Mr. Li Chaowen; Member of the Executive Committee & Head of the General Office, Organization Department of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, Mr. Lei Yang; Director of Division III, Organization Department of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, Prof. Gan Xuechun, President of Honghe University, and Mrs. Huangwei, Director of International Office, Honghe University.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the ongoing academic collaboration between the universities and the other possible areas of academic cooperation. Professor Ven. Dhammajothi, Director, Confucius Institute ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, and Professor Zhang Xi; the Chinese Director, Confucius Institute ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ also participated at the meeting. The meeting was organized by the International Office of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´.
