Hon. Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, and a high-level delegation visited the Faculty of Medicine on 4 May 2026 during an official visit to Sri Lanka. The visit focused on strengthening academic collaboration, exploring opportunities for medical research partnerships, and enhancing knowledge exchange between institutions. The Vice Chancellor, Professor , the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Vidya Jothi and staff members participated in the discussions, highlighting shared interests in advancing medical education and healthcare innovation.
