FGS Celebrates Women’s Day under the theme ‘Women in Times of Crises’
Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) celebrates Women’s Day on the 8th of March 2023 at the Faculty premises under the theme “Women in Times of Crises”. Professor (Chair) from the Faculty of Law and Dr Gayatri Lokuge, Senior Researcher, Centre for Poverty Analysis were panellists and the panel were moderated by Dr Kaushalya Ariyarathne. The panel led to a very thought-provoking discussion session. The Vice-Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) addressed the gathering. The welcome address was delivered by the FGS Dean Professor while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr , Coordinator of the Postgraduate Diploma in Gender and Women’s Studies. Postgraduate students of the FGS, coordinators and other Faculty members attended the event.
