Forum : “Are we prepared for Natural Disasters ?
The Department of Geography organized a Forum on 鈥淎re We Prepared for Natural Disasters ?鈥 on 14th June 2016, at the M. B. Ariyapala Auditorium, Faculty of Arts, from 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm, in collaboration with the Land Division of the Ministry of Environment.
The theme of this Forum was 鈥淎re the professionals ready to face the challenges that emerge from the Disasters in Sri Lanka鈥. The main objective of this forum was to find an answer for the question raised by the general public. What is the role and the solutions University Academics, Professionals, and Planners can propose for such phenomenon ?
