Internship placements of the Department of Economics
Just one month after the having entered into a collaboration partnership with the to support their Internship Programme, the collaboration has now secured over one hundred internship opportunities in the Private Sector. In recognition of the progress of this successful initiative, the Department of Economics hosted a Ceremonial Inauguration and Felicitation on 24th August 2018 at the Auditorium of the Department of Economics.
Head of the Department of Economics, , President of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ Alumni, Dr. Sasini Kulathunga, Co-ordinator of the Internship Programme of the Department of Economics, Alumni Head of Administration Mr. Sumanaratne Marasinghe, representatives from the Corporate Partners , and . and Company and many staff and students were present at the Ceremony.
