Kyushu University of Japan to collaborate with ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´

Dr. Akimasa Yoshikawa, Mr. Hiroki Matsushita, Mr. Kazuma Shirotani, and Mr. Yusuke Aoyagi from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Kyushu University of Japan visited ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ on 26th February 2016. During the visit, the delegates met Professor K.R.R. Mahanama, acting Vice-Chancellor, ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, and Professor Chandana Jayaratne, Senior Lecturer from Department of Physics, ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, and discussed the proposed installation project of Geomagnetic Field Station in Sri Lanka as a joint project between ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ and Kyushu University of Japan. This joint project will be an initiation to a new arena of Space Science and Technology in Sri Lanka.
