²Ñ²¹²µ²Ô²¹³Ù±ð’19 under the theme of ‘Financial Intelligence for Future Magnates’ organized by the students of the Department of Finance was held on 2nd August 2019 at the . The Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the event and the Key Note Speaker of the event was Mr. C. J. P. Siriwardana, Deputy Secretary-General of National Economic Council of Sri Lanka. Other special invitees were Professor P.S.M. Gunarathna, Vice Chairman of UGC and Mr. Vajira Wijegunawardana, Director General of Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
In connection to ²Ñ²¹²µ²Ô²¹³Ù±ð’19 an Inter-University Debate Competition and Intra Faculty Quiz Competition were organized to provide a platform for the students to demonstrate their vivid skills and competencies to become future magnates.
