
Vice Chancellor meets with the members of the project consortium “Challenges of Municipal Solid Waste Management”
Members of the project consortium of the “Challenges of Municipal Solid Waste Management – Learning from Post Crisis Governance Initiatives in South Asia (MSWM)” met the Vice Chancellor Senior Professor (Chair) , on 17th January 2023 at the Senate Hall of the University. The delegation was led by Professor Rene Veron, a Professor of Social Geography from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland who is also the Principal Investigator of the MSWM project. The delegation consisted of academics and practitioners from IIT, Bombay; University of Lussane, Switzerland; University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Western Switzerland; Center for Environment and Development, Kerala; Center for Environment and Development, Nepal; and the Center for Integrated Urban Development, Nepal.
Senior Professor , the dean of the Faculty of Arts and Professor attended the meeting, representing the Faculty of Arts. Professor Veron made a brief presentation introducing the project and its outcomes to the Vice Chancellor. After the presentation, the Vice Chancellor engaged in a discussion with the delegation about the future expansion of collaborations.
