
Celebrating Commitment to Research: The Senate Awards for Research and Senate Commendation Awards 2022
The Senate Awards for Research recognizes the contributions of the academic staff members of the University through their research work in national and/or international peer-reviewed indexed journals. The award strives to promote a strong research culture and showcase the University’s contribution to the production of new knowledge. Thirty-five distinguished awardees were recognized for their impactful research endeavours across the general and early career categories at the Annual Research Symposium 2023, held on 2nd November 2023 at the Prof. V. K. Samaranayake Auditorium of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ School of Computing. Eighty Senate Commendation Awards were also presented, in appreciation of the academic staff members’ dedication to research.
