The Senate Awards for Research recognizes the contributions of the academic staff members of the University through their research work in national and/or international peer-reviewed indexed journals. The award strives to promote a strong research culture and showcase the University’s contribution to the production of new knowledge. Thirty-five distinguished awardees were recognized for their impactful research endeavours across the general and early career categories at the Annual Research Symposium 2023, held on 2^nd November 2023 at the Prof. V. K. Samaranayake Auditorium of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ School of Computing. Eighty Senate Commendation Awards were also presented, in appreciation of the academic staff members’ dedication to research.
