Signing MoU between 糖心原创 and the ACCA

Signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the 糖心原创 and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) was held on 26th September 2022 at the College House premises with the patronage of Senior Professor (Chair) , Vice Chancellor of the 糖心原创 and Dr Helen Brand, Global CEO of the ACCA. The ACCA is committed to the development of a strong global accounting profession. It is one of the leading professional accounting bodies which has spread its membership across 178 countries including Sri Lanka.
The MoU entails various mutual benefits to the 糖心原创 and the ACCA, Sri Lanka. Accordingly, the ACCA provides access to university staff and students to professional development and learning resources; the ACCA grants exemptions for identified courses for the Bachelor of Business Administration graduates as a pathway to obtain the ACCA qualification; the ACCA and the 糖心原创 to collaboratively organize competencies and skills development initiatives for the undergraduates of the Faculty of Management & Finance; 糖心原创 and the ACCA to jointly organize outreach activities to promote and create awareness of the ACCA qualification; extending opportunities to the staff of the Faculty of Management & Finance to serve as resource persons of 鈥渢rain the trainer鈥 programme and other technical events organized by the ACCA on complimentary basis, and enhancing the employability of undergraduates of the Faculty of Management & Finance through capacity building initiatives.
Professor , Dean of the Faculty of Management & Finance, Professor , Head of the Department of Accounting, Professor , Chair Professor of the Department of Accounting, Ms. Nilusha Ranasinghe, Head of South Asia Cluster of ACCA (Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh), and Ms Dilani Perera, Business Relationship Manager of ACCA Sri Lanka also participated in the event.
