
ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Sri Lanka Police Forge Strategic Partnership for Institutional Development and Digital Transformation
In a significant step towards advancing the institutional development of the Sri Lanka Police, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Vice Chancellor recently held a meeting to discuss academic and professional collaboration on 16 December 2025 at the College House premises. The meeting focused on securing expert support for the development of a Corporate Plan and Strategic Plan, along with advancing planning and digitalisation initiatives for the Sri Lanka Police.
The discussion emphasised technology-enabled governance, enhanced service delivery, and organisational modernisation. Experts from the Faculty of Management & Finance, the Faculty of Law, and the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ School of Computing also contributed to the discussions. The discussions highlighted the University’s strong commitment to leveraging its academic expertise in support of national priorities and public sector transformation.
