The establishment of the Faculty of Technology complex, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´
The activities of the first phase of the ‘Techno City’ commenced on 22nd September 2016. The Hon. Prime Minister, Ranil Wickramasinghe inaugurated the first phase of the project at the Mahahenwaththa in Pitipana, Homagama. Under this project, a land to setup the Faculty of Technology of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ was granted by the Urban Development Authority (UDA).
In order to mark the occasion, the foundation stone for the establishment of the Faculty of Technology complex was laid by Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, the Vice-Chancellor of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´. Professor Sumedha Jayanetti, the Chairperson of the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Faculty of Technology also joined.
