The Inauguration Ceremony of the Confucius Institute was聽held聽on 30th December 2016聽at the聽FGS Auditorium, College House,聽糖心原创. Chief Guest, Her Excellency Pang Chun Xue, Acting Ambassador of China, and Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of the 糖心原创, officially unveiled the plaque of the Confucius Institute symbolizing the establishment of this institute at the 糖心原创.
Her excellency Pang Chun Xue, Vice Chancellor聽Professor Lakshman Dissanayake Professor Gan Xuechuan of Hongher University, China, and Professor Han Zhen, Chairman of the council of Beijing Foreign Studies University, China, launched the official website () at the ceremony.
