UOC Excels Globally: Secures Impressive Position in UI GreenMetric Award 2023
The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ has achieved a commendable position, ranking 263rd out of 1183 universities in the UI GreenMetric Award 2023. This prestigious ranking, focusing on green campus and environmental sustainability, is initiated by Universitas Indonesia. Remarkably, the Wageningen University & Research Netherlands has secured the top spot globally in the UI GreenMetric Award 2023. In Sri Lanka, the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ stands as the second-highest-ranked university, with the University of Kelaniya holding the leading position. Notably, the UI GreenMetric rankings for 2023 were based on the university’s performance in 2022. The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ applied for this award through the Center for Environmental Initiatives (CEI) and the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´’s total rankings and scores are as follows:
