Visit from South China Normal University
Professor Liu Yongqin, the Executive Vice Dean of College of International Culture, Professor Pan Wending, the Executive Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management, Ms. Du Danyun, Office of the International Exchange & Cooperation, Ms. Ye Xiaoni, Program Director, Office of the International Exchange & Cooperation, Mr. Dai Xiangbin, Head of the International Office, College of International Culture, South China Normal University, China visited Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, the Vice-Chancellor of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ on 8th July at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. Mr. K.A.S. Edward, the Registrar of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Professor W. Chandradasa, Dean Faculty of Education, Dr. Kokila Konasinghe, the Director of the International Unit, and Mr. Wimal Hewa Manage, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Arts, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ also participated at the meeting. During the meeting, both parties agreed to initiate the collaboration between the two universities with student exchange programs and joint research collaborations in Pali and Sanskrit and then to expand the collaborations to other possible areas.
