A visit from Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran
Professor Seyyed Mohammad Reza Khalili, Regional representative of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran, and Mohamed Oraree Karimi, the cultural Counselor of Iran Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka visited ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ on 21st July. During the visit, Professor Khalili met Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, and Professor Athula Ranasinghe, Dean, Faculty of Arts at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. Professor Shiroma Hadunnetti, Director, Institute of Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Dr. Kokila Konasinghe, Director of the International Unit of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Mr. M.M.M. Sabir, Head, Arabic, and Islamic Civilization Unit, Faculty of Arts also participated at the meeting. Discussions were held to explore the possibility of initiating collaborations between ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and Iranian Universities.
