The Awards Ceremony of the Dean’s Literary Awards Competition – 2016 , which was organized by the Department of Sinhala and the Dean’s office, Faculty of Arts, was held on 24th November, 2016 at the New Arts Theatre from 3.00pm onwards.  The Keynote speech was delivered by the award winning writer Professor Liyanage Amarakeerthi, Department of Sinhala, University of Peradeniya.

The literary competitions were held under nine categories as Poetry, Essays, Lyrics, Literary Criticism, Novels, Short Stories, Short Plays�����Ի����ʳ�dzٴDz���������.�� This contest was open for 2^nd,��3^rd�����Ի���4^th year undergraduates of the Faculty of Arts, ����ԭ��.
