Constitution Day of India – 2016
University Colombo and CCIS appreciate His Excellency Mr. Y.K. Sinha’s Contribution
To commemorate the Constitution Day of India  a lecture by Prof. Rohan Samarajiva was held on 25th November 2016  at 5.00 pm at the Senate Hall, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´. His Excellency Mr. Y.K. Sinha, High Commissioner of India, Colombo  was the Chief Guest of the event. Mr. Arindam Bagchi, Deputy High Commissioner of India, Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice Chancellor | ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, Professor Nayani Melegoda, Dean | FGS, Professor Sandagomi Coperahewa, Director | CCIS, the  officials of the High Commission of India, other invitees, students attended the event and it  was the last official function of the  His Excellency Mr. Y.K. Sinha as the   High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka. Appreciating his contribution to the CCIS and ÌÇÐÄÔ´´,  the Vice Chancellor presented a token of appreciation to the His Excellency. The event was organized by the CCIS in collaboration with the High Commission of India, Colombo.
