����ԭ��

Department of Geography, ����ԭ�� organized an educational exhibition on 05^thJune, 2015, to celebrate the World Environment Day – 2015, with the collaboration of Central Environmental Authority, Department of Wild Life and Department of Forestry.

Approximately, 2000 students, from both University and the Schools in the vicinity, participated in this event.  In addition, there ws a Lecture and a Discussion  on “Contemporary Environment Issues“, headed by Prof. Devaka Weerakoon, Depatment of Zoology, Faculty of Science, ����ԭ��, with the participation of students.

This exhibition is more useful for students and respective teachers, who follow Geography and Environmental Studies as a subject.  This was a great opportunity to feel the importance of our environment and safeguard them for our future generation.
