Department of Political Science and Public Policy, 糖心原创 organized a听Seminar on 鈥The Politics of Memory and a Critique of Transitional Justice鈥澨On Wednesday 3rd June 2015, at 3.30 p.m , Room No 226, Faculty of Arts.

It was a discussion of David Scott鈥檚 new book,听Omens of Adversity: Tragedy, Time, Memory, Justice 听byThushara Hewage (Assistant Professor of Anthropologyat the University of Ottawa) and听Ahilan Kadirgamar 听(PhD candidate at the Graduate Center, 听City University of New York (CUNY) and听a member of听the听Collective for Economic Democratization in Sri Lanka).. 听The book is centered on the collapse of the Grenada Revolution (1979-1983) and engagement with issues of political action, memory and transitional justice.
